“Спомини [Spomyny]” is a Ukrainian word for “memories” or “memoirs”. This work by Sophia Bulgakova is based on personal and communal accounts of the past four years of full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. The installation consists of meters and meters of insulation pipes that present sonic artifacts of civilian life during the invasion. You are invited to tune in and glimpse extreme experiences within everyday war realities.
